Trust posture
Automation with a review trail.
CallPorch is built so a careful operator can sleep through the night and still trust what happened on the phone. No black box. No unconfirmed badges.
Built for trust
Useful automation, reviewed by people.
CallPorch drafts the path. Your team controls the rules. We surface what happened on every call so a human can confirm before anything goes out.

Division of work
What CallPorch handles, and what stays with your team.
We draft. Your team decides. The split is deliberate — useful automation should make the human review faster, not optional.
What CallPorch can handle
Drafts, holds, and source trails.
- Answer after-hours and overflow calls in your brand voice.
- Collect structured intake with a transcript excerpt next to every field.
- Hold a calendar slot for 15 minutes and send a short SMS confirmation.
- Flag likely urgency and read your approved referral language.
- Keep a source trail so every booked field traces back to the call.
What stays with your team
The decisions that need a person.
- Confirming sensitive bookings — surgeries, first-time legal intakes, vet emergencies.
- Quoting final pricing, treatment plans, or representation terms.
- Deciding when a caller needs a human, an ER, or your on-call protocol.
- Approving SMS that contains anything beyond a date, time, and name.
- Closing the loop with the caller after the visit.
Sensitive-case handling
The calls where we do less, on purpose.
For these service lines, CallPorch narrows what it says and widens what your team confirms.
- 01Dental emergency
Helps route swelling, trauma, or post-op pain to your on-call workflow. Drafts a same-day callback slip for staff to confirm. No medication or pain triage from the assistant.
- 02Legal intake
Captures the conflict-check basics and a short matter summary, then flags it for attorney review. Never quotes case value, predicts outcomes, or implies representation.
- 03Veterinary urgency
Flags likely urgency (suspected poisoning, breathing difficulty, post-surgery symptoms) and reads your approved referral language to the nearest ER vet. No dosing or treatment guidance.
- 04Home-service safety
For gas smell, water-pouring leaks, or active electrical hazards, the assistant pauses booking, reads your safety script, and pages the on-call tech instead of holding a slot.
Healthcare safety boundary
What CallPorch does not decide
CallPorch supports clinical front desks, but it is not a clinician. For dental, nephrology, HME, and any other healthcare-adjacent workflow, the rules below apply by default.
- CallPorch does not diagnose.
- CallPorch does not provide medical advice.
- CallPorch does not decide emergencies.
- CallPorch routes based on customer-approved rules and leaves staff a review trail.

Data handling
Careful by default. Configurable by you.
We state scope, not seals. Our SOC 2 Type II report covers Security, Availability, and Confidentiality for the October 2024 – October 2025 audit period. Healthcare customers can request a BAA; HIPAA-compliant tenants run with database-level segregation. For the report, the BAA, or a specific framework question, write to security@callporch.co.
- Where data lives
Call recordings, transcripts, and intake records are stored in encrypted managed databases and object storage. Access is scoped per workspace.
- How long it's kept
Retention windows are configurable per workspace. Defaults are conservative; staff can shorten or extend them per service line.
- Who can see it
Role-based access for owners, staff, and view-only reviewers. Every view and export is recorded in the audit history.
- What we never do
We do not sell call data, train shared models on your transcripts, or share recordings with third parties outside the integrations you connect.
